Something in the 2500-3000 range, with lock up. Something that can just be put in and go. No rebuilds. LT1 4L60E

with 2.73's in the back and a stock cam, I dont think id want to go any bigger than the 3000. but willing to entertain offers on converters up to a 3400.

I would look into yank's ss series converters. They drive real tight part throttle and really wake up at wide open. ss3200 at a minimum and even a 3600 if you plan on camming eventually. Gears will help down the line. Can't beat a quality 9.5" converter.

I will even take a stocker, Just to put something in there before my current one destroys my tranny.

It worked fine when I pulled it out, been sitting in the basement for a couple years now.
