Tail lights SOLD! Anyone need 5.3/5.7 or 6.0 heads? CHEAP

Bump it up. BTW, these springs, locks, & retainers alone are a great upgrade for guys out there with tbi, tpi, and LT1 heads. That'd be reason enough to grab a set of these for my low prices. I know they will sell for more on ebay- just don't feel like boxing them up. The 862s have 132k miles on them and the iron 6.0 heads have under 100k(they were swapped out for aluminum heads on a 408 turbo suburban build).

part number on the 6.0 heads

There are no numbers on the casting pad near the top of the valve covers like all the aluminum heads. There is a long number near the exhaust port that is lightly etched in. I will look as soon as I get home. I do know that they are the exact same casting as the 317's except iron. The iron heads will handle much more boost, but do hold in a little more heat.

the iron casting numbers are 873's

im thinking about grabbing a set of those lq4 heads and having them ported and polished for a future build of my newly aquired ls1 car...low compression turbo setup maybe?
pm me a price shipped to 71105...relocated due to airforce few months back

$60 takes BOTH sets of heads. Want them gone. Great to bolt on and use or even just for parts.

I am kind of a head noob... but what would I gain on my LT1 if I swapped that stuff on?

These are LSX heads.

ThoR294 07-16-2013 10:03 PM

Yes LSX motors only. You could benefit from the bee-hive springs, locks, and retainers in your LT1 though. Or, these could be great for porting if you plan to build an LS motor.

Final call. $50 takes BOTH sets of heads. If not sold by Sunday 7/21 then they are going to get scrapped 1st thing on Monday. Seems like a shame, but oh well.
