Spark plug and wire info?

I need to install new wires in my stock 94 LT1. I once tried using 8mm wires but I had trouble on the right side getting the wires in the loom/holder that allows the wires to wrap around the front corner of the engine block. They did not want to stay in and forcing them started to cut the wire. I went to the dealer and installed 7mm AC Delco wires and AC Delco 41-906 plugs. I am thinking about using a kit that allows me to make up the wires to extra length and rerout them? Is there a better plug? Thanks Steve

the 8mm wires "should" fit into the factory loom. 8.5 and larger is where you have the problem.

I think alot of lt1 guys are doing NGk tr55's gapped to .045. Goi g off memory that's what I did on mine with 8 mm wires.

With ur motor being stock u shouldnt have any problems using the 7mm. If u did upgrade your motor with bolt ons then i would up the wire size. Tr55s is what i used gapped at .045 i believe

Thanks guys. I do not want to use another set of AC wires they did not last that long. Cyl 7 is arcing right from the boot to the head. Maybe ur right deadtrend1 and I tried 8.5's. It was a few years ago. I just remember how much of a pain in the ass it was.
