Decided to pop online for a few minutes to make sure I didn't have any fires to put out at home but wanted to say hello. Engineering wife and I are away for the week at a resort in the DR. The weather is fantastic and we are getting some much needed R&R. See everyone soon.

Thanks. Been great so far. Went on an excursion today. Cigar rolling place, crazy back roads, sugar cane tour, rode a horse for the first time, etc.


SPF 30 applied religiously. Freckles still getting bigger. Took a nice nap in these big bed things with a canopy right on the beach. Very relaxing.

I highly recommend taking a trip like this to another climate zone. My wife and I haven't taken a nice extended vacation since probably our honeymoon so we are happy to have the opportunity.

Never gonna happen.

Agreed with Bonzo more Vacation less interwebs, but when you get back I would be interested in learning about what resort you went to.

if you stay out in the sun long enough... your freckles will cover all exposed skin and youll be the perfect shade of tan...

You just need to start hibernating all summer.
