Camaro SS vs WS6 Suspension?

So my 98 Camaro SS I just picked up has the original 100k mile Decarbon shocks. I just got rid of an original '88 Saleen with Koni reds on it. So the SS feels soft to me. Before I go dropping $$$ on Konis, I was thinking maybe I could get a set of used WS6 shocks? Will they just bolt in? Improvement? Anyone have something used they want to sell? :)

I'm pretty positive that ws6s came with Decarbons also.

Why buy used 12-17 year old shocks no matter what they are?

No sense buying used shocks as mentioned since any used set will be at least 12 years old.

Skip it... even if it the optioned bilsteins.

Yup. Shocks don't last forever. Neither do springs for that matter.

Ws6store.com had a great deal on bilsteins about 2 months ago when I ordered mine. See if they still do

sam strano is handling guru for F-bodies. reach out to his company - Strano Performance in PA.
I think Koni's are even on sale now. you would be fine with the single adjustables (double adjustable koni's came stock on 1LE f-bodies although these are extremely rare). if you want to step it up, get the strano hollow sway bars. another step up would be the strano springs.
