Another, Started a business thread!

What's up everyone. I worked for a garage door company for 4 years prior to starting on my own, I wasn't planning on it but the owner and I didn't see eye to eye. I officially started my company back in April. Everything is going well so far considering I started from scratch. I have a website and Facebook page if you guys ever need anything and want to check out the work I have done. My company is called Dialed In Garage Doors, anyone who knows how much I love Bracket Racing knows why I chose this name! I'm based out of Little Falls but I travel within a 1 hour radius so I cover a lot of ground. Also, for now I'm just doing Residential work.

Thanks for reading, Matt.

Thanks guys!

For me it just got to a point where I was tired of investing myself for people who don't value their employees. I thought I had something solid at my last job but I was wrong. I'm too old(in my eyes) to be starting over every 4-5 years.

Matt, good luck with your business. I have seen you at the track at times when I go up there. I need to stop by and introduce myself to you. I enjoy bracket racing as well and race my slow Fbody in the lowly street eliminator.

mc73nova 11-06-2014 08:41 PM

Thanks for the kind words guys!

That's the good thing about bracket racing, you don't have to be fast! I've done some of my best driving in a street car.

The only problem I have had was a front wheel hub/bearing about a month after I got it. I bought it used with 54k miles on it, I'm up to 76k miles and have no complaints. The only major issue I have heard of is if you plan on doing any mods, the trans is the weak link. I can say, I abuse it at the track at least once a month and have had no issues. I love it!
