They should be embarrassed and quit the industry right now. Such an unprofessional......blah blah blah.

I am surprised they couldn't get the money myself. But hey people love paying for useless stuff so that's why people will donate. They get some kick back

I think the Beerfest perk is pretty bad ass

yeah I think that one is worth the money. Imagine doing that with them, and only if they never break character.

2.1 mil in a day as of right now, still climbing. someone spent $35k on a patrol car to be used in the movie lol

so what happens to the people that donate money when they dont make the movie?

Q: What happens if I give you money for these perks, and the movie never gets made, or disaster strikes and it never comes out?

A: If some act of god keeps us from making the movie, we’d still send you any perks that we’re able to produce. (And then they'll be genuine collectibles!) For perks that we couldn’t produce on our own, such as the Fandango Movie Ticket, digital downloads, or DVDs, we would issue you a partial refund for the part of your contribution that would have paid for the perk.

Crowdfunding is fine as long as its done properly. Here you have an example of a successful crowdfund. They have a product that the general public has an interest in. They have a well thought and laid out plan in place. They also have perks set in place to reward those that have paid out. It wasn't just slapped
together in 5 minutes in paint and asking for a few bucks. You know for a fact that those are 2 totally completely opposite ends of the spectrum and you dont always have to get your pants in a knot man. geez youd think having a kid would mellow you out a little.

They are both for profit projects so while one may have its ducks in a row I wouldn't call them opposite ends of the spectrum...the opposite end would be something charitable

Aside...having a baby may mellow me out once she starts sleeping and I can return to sleeping... Lol

I am excited for it, but they had better not ruin it and pay homage to the first one's jokes all over. Cough..cough ...boondock saints 2...
