Anyone else bring their welding mask to work so you could look at the eclipse? 8-)

I'm cutting a hole in a cereal box.

Some of us have to work.

im just going to stare into some A8 headlights instead.

I hear a lot of people are doing that.

They are letting us go outside to see it.

Not every mask works so be careful, got one that did and its pretty neat.

Eye doctors about to make a killing.

Mine goes to "13" and I kept my sunglasses on too 8-)

The mask was a big hit. A lot of people thanked me for bringing it in. One person had a set of glasses and another brought a pinhole box/camera in.
Was fun messing with the some of the people while they were trying to use the box and find the sun. I kept telling one guy to back up :rofl: He was the same guy who couldn't find the sun with my welding mask too :kneeslap:

Cap'n Crunch is going to get the eye damage since I used a cereal box.

I got a pair of the glasses, all the hype on Facebook was kind of upsetting, but then when you see it your like "Alright, thats pretty cool"

No, I work for a place that sells them ... :)

The easy thing to do is look at the reflection in a car windshield or something similar - no reason to grab the welding helmet off the hook.
