Explain some new technology to an old dog...

Ok, I'd like to get a tune for the Avenger. I'm familiar with how hand held tuners work, as I had a Hypertech for my 94 Trans Am. Now, there is a Diablo tuner available for my Avenger that comes with a "canned" tune that is supposed to be decent. But I've heard great things about another company that will email you a tune via email that you would load up in the Diablo via a PC. Now, I haven't had a PC in years, and this technology has passed me by. Would I be able to order the custom tune and then just go to the library and load it into the tuner with some kind of patch cord? I emailed the company that does the custom tunes and asked them if they can sell me a tuner with their tunes already loaded, and they said No, they do them via email. Which to me is kind of stupid since I'm probably not the only technology limited stump out there...

My guess is you receive the tune file via email, upload it into the Diablo via a PC to hand held connector and then you're ready to use the diablo on the car to load it in.

I haven't owned a PC in years and guess my best bet is to just find a shop that does dyno tuning and can speak Dodge Avenger....

Hey people can be that guy and scoff, but it's a 285 HP n/a daily driver that is a helluva lot of fun to drive. I'm just like anybody else, I got 'em so I want to smoke 'em.

Look harder...:D For once I want to say I've "finished" a project. I've got all the aftermarket performance stuff for the car except a tune.
