Contest!
 

We are trying to come up with a logo for the site. At this time we are not allowed to use any GM copyrighted logo, so please try to keep them out of your design. The logo will be displayed at approximately 250 pixels wide x 100 pixels high, so test your designs at that size. Please submit your designs in .jpg or .gif format, and keep them to no more than two colors plus a background. The designs will be printed on either white or light gray t-shirts, so plan accordingly.

Please submit your original designs to me via e-mail.

The last day to submit designs is September 10, 2004. On September 18, 2004 we will post a poll in the Lounge with our choice of the five cleanest designs. Voting will end on Setember 24, 2004. The winner will be posted on September 25, 2004. The winner will receive a free t-shirt with his/her logo on it.

who is paying for the shirts? or about how much are they going to be ?

Our tentative idea (as plans have not been finalized yet) is to come up with a shirt design (using the contest-winning logo), show it to everyone, and then take pre-orders for the shirts. We are aiming to keep the costs low. Hopefully under $15.

i know a couple of friends who are in votech for graphic art if we supply the t's they should be able to print them cuz that is what they do just something to look into that would keep cost down

Im sure the guys will figure out some good pricing would be for the shirts. Just takes a little RESEARCH thats all.

yea we should also set up so we can take donations cuz now that craig is rich he can by my shirt

I have a logo for the site. I think its good looking. It's based off of the firebird on the thirdgen noses incorporating NJ into the wings. If anyone would like to host this pic so i can post IM me @ GagneProtege on AIM. Later Y'all.
