maybe its just me but i cant get the site anymore, it "doesn't exist" it worked 45 min ago...weird...oh well i just found this site now anyway soooo...i guess i'm here now

seems as if either cryz has seen the link posted, and pulled the plug, or maybe the server is down, either of which is leading to a massive defection over to here. 8)

nevermind....the server must have been down....

yea i was gunna say...works fine for me...not that i care anymore anyway...this site is alot much more better even :P

I don't know how she'll react when she sees this, but I'll ask all of you to play nice, ok? :wink:

just be nice about it whatever happens. she had her way of doing things and we have ours. it is really that simple.
if she comes over we will be happy to welcome her as a member.

i always try to be nice. :wink: even when someone else decides, for whatever reason, to be nasty - i still try to maintain my composure and be nice. until it's time to not be nice.

cryz never did anything to me personally. i thought she shared my idea of what an F-body club should be, but i never saw any action and i was never given the authority to act on behalf of the club.

so, basically, nothing happened.

i have high hopes for this site as the amount of talent that has gathered here already is impressive. with strong direction onwhere we are heading, and the people operating the strings that are in place, we should become the f-body site of NJ.

if the other club continues on, i wish them the best.

I wont be posting there much anymore. I always liked the people on njfbody but never some of the people who ran it. that "cryz" girl did things her way and her way only. she "paid the bill" so it was her way. You gotta understand that when you're running a website and message board that the entire site is useless without the USERS. You don't make the users happy and you have nothing. There were quite a few times where I brought up various things that I felt needed changing and got nothing but basically "its my site! you've been warned!" blahablablah. For instance, the whole automatic word censoring which changed "mustang" to "stank" C'mon, how mature is that?

Remember, the key to running a good message board is having people who run it realizing they are no better than any other user. I've helped run a message board (which I'm not going to name here - and I hope none who know about it does either) for almost 3 years now. We've banned 1 person in those 3 years and never have any other problems because the power is in the users, the admin/mods are just there to help - not control.

I felt, in my opinion, that girl was too controlling over stuff. Took stuff a little too seriously. Not my kinda place.

hopefully you will feel more welcome here.
like i said, cryz has her way of runnign things and we have ours. hopefully we can peacefully co-exist and everyone will be happy.
we are happy to see positive feedback from people who came from njfbody, but at the saem time, many of us still cruise that board regularly.

Heh - don't worry, they horrify me too. We were chomping at the bit to get word of this site out, so I threw up a page that served a purpose. I am brushing up on my php, and I'll keep your name in mind if I have any questions.

Also, feel free to let me know if you have any ideas that you think would work out well for the frontpage - I'm always open to new ideas and suggestions.
