Tire Size

Whats the biggest tire I could possibly fit on my 15' Trans Am wheels?

I think stock they are something pathetic like 215

my bro's truck has 275's on his 15 inchers :D

er.....edit: 15x7 wheels too...

235/60 15s will fit perfectly and not throw your speedo off. Anything wider than a 245 on a 7" wide wheel is gonna start bulging and actually cause the car to handle worse.

are you going for the "big tire" look or jsut looking for more traction? the biggest thing is to not throw off your speedo.
you can get a 275 liek squirrel said, but even a 275/50 is a little taller than the stock tire and woudl make teh speedo read a little slower than you are actually going

Im just looking to get a little wider stance out of my rear tires. I dont want the mexican beaner look... I think the stock size makes them too tiny looking, and dont give a great stance.

My speedo is already off 12mph.

i woudl go with what tpi monte ss said then. teh 235's are a good size tire for a bit better look. you can go up to the 275/50 if you really want a dramatic change.
