may have found my replacement vehicle
and no its not an fbody...hehe its an 04 dodge 1500 crew cab hemi, black with graphite interior 4x4...trucks fairly quick for being so huge & heavy...I do think it needs more gear & a posi out back...as it appeared to leave a one tire fryer mark from a stop up till around 40mph or so. I can get it for $23500 and its only got 15k on the clock and of course the 7 year powertrain warranty through dodge. I think its a pretty good deal considering they are like 35-36k new.

May I ask why? I hope its to maybe tow this "evil" LS1 powerd car, and even that I would NEVER get a Dodge, no matter what kind of marketing crap they pull.
Screw the Hemi, SBC owns joo. |

IMO, the new Silverado's aren't the best looking.....but still look 10x better than a new Ram.
Std. Cab/Std. Bed 1500, with the 6.0L....that's what you need Bill. - Justin |

I love the Silvy's agressive face. Go ahead and have fun with your stupid Hemi that isnt really a hemi at all.
Enjoy the worst gas milage out of any full size truck while your at it too. on a nother note, GM offers DoD on all there new 5.3 V8's this year. 8) |
What does everybody have against Dodge? :( I don't get it. We own two currently, one Dakota (phil's 318 project) and one Stratus. But we also had an Aries (thrasher engine, WOO) and that may not have been the best looking, but that car was awesome and it was old. We sold that cuz it was about time for a new car for my mom, but it was great even when we sold it. We've never had a problem with Dodge.

Personally I think the Dodge's are nice trucks. The Hemi is fast, but as stated earlier a real gas guzzler....forget any sembelance of economy. The new Silverado's are nice, but pricey. Eventhough I hate Ford I'll admit their trucks are nice as well. Pretty much any American truck will suit your needs. I have a 97 Silverado with a lift kit, some large tires, and soon some custom parts. Looks good, gets decent mileage, and I'm not afraid to use it for hauling engines and such. Couldn't say the same if I dropped $30-$45k on a new truck.
