One step closer....

I got my pass. side header in yesterday. I went to snug the new locking header bolts, but thanks to the guys at Hedman, the only way to get at them is with some too that doesnt exist! Anyway....Ill move the the Y pipe as soon as I get most of the bolts snugged down and then we can do the valve lash on our TV show.... 8)

Damn... I can get my Hooker long tubes in and out in less than 20 minutes  Carbed, no emissions, no air conditioned f-bodies rule.

well, after I dropped the starter and used a little hammer action on one of the hard coolant lines, it dropped in quite nice.
I reaaaaaaaaally need to get an LT1 starter.

a road flare, can of gasoline, and about 5-6 minutes

jims69camaro 10-08-2004 09:43 PM

yeah, that's ignition, but not the kind al is hoping for. now that it's starting to turn cold i wonder how much longer you can work on it? oh, wait, you've got a garage... ;)

BigAls87Z28 10-09-2004 02:10 AM

Ah yes, but that garage still gets cold.

I need to lash teh valves and then put her back together. Thats pretty much it. I have all the parts except plugs and 02 sensor. Then we can start it up. Maybe ill get it done before my bday! 8)
