So glad I graduate in 3 weeks
Yeah, so lovely Camden NJ, the world's most dangerous city, and I go to school there. In the past week, we have received emails regarding 3 rapes on and around campus. How heartening to read, especially being female. And they aren't late at night like normal, the most recent one was at 2:45pm, and one other was at like 7:30am (that one was a HS student at the charter school next to campus, and a lot of the students are getting ready for school at that time). And they are not the horrible parts of town, they are directly next to campus. They have since beefed up security, as I do see a lot more cops and security walkin/driving around. But damn, makes me feel reeeeeeeealy vulnerable. We use to get notices of robberies and ****, but they were also late at night in a poorly lit section...these are happening in broad daylight in heavily populated areas. Gah.
Ok, done venting. So glad I graduate in 3 weeks. Speaking of, what's the theme of my graduation party guys? ;) Say, Fri Dec 17? ;)
