Getting the Word Out
 

hey gang,
we have a lot of work to do to get this event from and idea to a great show. to help with that i woudl like to ask everyone to mention the event and club site on any f-body or general car forums you visit around the web.
even somehting as simple as throwing a link to the event forum to to the main page of teh site in your signiture line can go a long way.
let people know that we have things rolling and that everybody is welcome to attend.

hey gang,
we are looking to get final feedback in teh next week or so on teh class rules so that we can finalize everything and go forward with seeking sponsorships.
please go back to teh boards that you frequent and mention that we are looking to lock things in with in the next week or so and ask everyone to get their suggestions in asap.
the sooner we finalize teh rules packages teh sooner i can get started looking for companies to pay for them :D

We are having an informal planning meeting at the Fudds on Rt. 22 in Bridgewater on February 8th. Please try to attend this meet, and don't forget to hit up the regional and event sections of any other boards you visit. If anyone on the other boards has interest in the event, please try to get them to leave us some feedback here. We want to hear from everyone, whether they agree of disagree with our ideas. We are always open to good suggestions that we haven't thought of yet :)

I'll get automotiveforums and just use jon's thing word for word, cuz thats a damn good post haha.

make sure as you post that you let everyone know that the rules are still up for debate to some degree. we won't be nailing down the specifics until the middle of next week.

maybe we can notify the news papers around the time of the event get the average guy to come see what were all about and bring his f body with him as well

i just dropped the word on 454ss.com, i know a few of those guys own f-bodies so we will see what happens.
