lol i got hit head on today..

yea so my job wouldn't let me go home today bc of the snow... and when i eventually could leave my car wouldn't move...was stuck in the parking lot bc the snow was up to the gfx...and while i was stopped and stuck someone thought they'd be funny and cruise around me but they hit a curb and swung right into my front bumper...police came...they get to buy me a new bumper, gfx and fender....and repaint the nose of my car...interesting how that works...i was so pissed off i got out and was yelling at the person...

Too many stupid people in this state. When I had my 93 Indy Pace Car and my 91 SS454 pickup, I told my boss I was leaving and if they needed me back at work to send someone in a 4x4 to come get me. What good does it do to wreck your vehicle? Then you can't make it to work until it's fixed. Some bosses and managers are just plain stupid too. My work is very understanding and they will let everyone go home early if the conditions get real bad. Maybe you can talk the shop into painting the whole car and you can pay the difference. That would be pretty sweet.

i probably would have gotten myself arrested

12secondv6 01-22-2005 08:57 PM

Sorry to hear that.......at first I thought you were hit with a rotary phone or something!

Fasterthanyou 01-22-2005 09:15 PM

That sucks. I'm suprised they cops are sticking up for you. Most of the time (and in my case) parking lot accidents are no-fault zones. I got screwed royally when some drunk backed right into my car. Then there was the time that some lady backed right into my passenger side door and floored it because she wasn't moving backwards anymore.... talk about dumbass!

Wasted Youth 01-22-2005 11:46 PM

car isn't all that bad, it's driveable but i wonder what work would say when i said im gonna be out a while bc my car is at the body shop waiting for an insurance adjuster..they would honestly expect me to pay for a taxi...which is rediculous...id prolly end up walking....its quite a walk...ehh we'll see i guess

camaro2you 01-23-2005 07:31 AM

id say if you want me to work hear anymore come pick me up

That still sucks! At least you're okay, but what an ass your boss is. My office is pretty lite, if you need to leave you can but some of my friends' offices are a real pain about things like that.

Sorry to hear about.

Dude...remind me never park near your or ride with you.... You must have a jackass-magnet attached cause you keep finding the prime drivers of this great state.

Time to roll your ass in foam and put you in a bubble! Glad to hear everything is ok and that the car is gunna get fixed and nothing serious.

Wasted Youth 01-23-2005 03:01 PM

yea i have a douche bag magnet...im gonna start saving for a down payment on a new truck prolly an escalade ext or silverado ss...might be a lil while bc me and save money don't go well together...i have a money spending sickness to go on shopping sprees...lol and i want the bike accident drama to blow over first...

uh....no.
The Silvy is lighter, has more power from its SC'ed 4.8, and looks WAY better then some boring old Ford.

JL8Jeff 01-23-2005 06:49 PM

Why would you want to spend $35K on a new truck? Huge waste of money. Get something slightly used and build it the way you want it.

Wasted Youth 01-24-2005 12:47 AM

i want the ss for the full time awd, i like the look, still can be used as a truck...might even go with an ext...and i want to go certified pre owned...not brand new....
