My Neighbor is finally moving.
 

Ok so heres the long version first:
My neighbor across the street and down a door has not liked me since I have been of age to use any type of a mode of transportation. When i was younger she yelled at us for riding our bikes up and down the street all day long. (yeah thats just starting it) When i bought my quad i would start it and move it to the front to get it in the back of the truck, or i would run it if I knew it wouldnt be ridden for a while. She didnt like this one bit, cause it Â*was sorta loud. She called the cops on me telling them i was riding it all over the neighborhood (I wasnt) the cops said they could impound it if that were the case but had no hard evidence. I started driving, and one night after I had first gotten my license my buddy and i were hooking up my car stereo, the doors were open but the radio was a little loud since he was tuning it. The cops came up again with some lame excuse cause she called them and said i was making too much noise LATE at night (it was Â*around 8:00) She called the cops on me and my dad for "Racing" up and down the street. We were not racing. She needed to just realize that some cars actually make some noise when they move. The night i finally fired up the chevelles 327 for the first time. It was open header Â*:lol: they came up and asked me to shut it off. I said no. twenty more minutes and it will go off, i was doing its initial start ups and oil changes. So we decide lately to just take it easy and not make so much noise, since we were really getting tired of this B*tch callin the cops and them coming to my house. This past summer I got the car on the road. I drove it alot, and went past her house hundreds of times. One evening she was outside as i went by on my way home. I shut the car off, and got everything ready to wash it. Next thing i know about 10 mins later once again here comes the cops. they said that the complaint was that "the Orange Hot Rod" was driving recklessly fast Â*(Estimated over 85 mph) and needed to be taken care of. I quickly explaied to the cops that if i were doing 85 mph and tried to pull in my driveway the car would be wrapped around my front trees because its impossible. This made me extra pissed now cause I was tired of the false accusations. over thanksgiving break i took the car out and proceeded to waste about $70 worth off my tires infront of her house at 9:30 PM. no cops came....so a week ago i did the same smoke filled both sides of the street as the exhaust echoes off houses and crap. This made me much happier. As of yesterday morning theres a for sale sign out infront of her house. I wonder why. Â*:shrug: Â*All i can say is that i am happy i wont have to put up with her crap anymore. Lets hope the next neighbors wont be like this also. Thanks for listening to me complain.

B*tch called the cops on me like 15 times in past years. I got tired of it. Smoked the crap outta my tires infront of her house. She cant stand all the noise i make. Shes Movin'! Â*:drive:

NICE!!!! I hate neighbors like that. The neighorbors that live behind my parent house used to steal our soccer, wiffle/baseballs and footballs anytime they would end up in their yard. Their daughter used to wait and watch us from the back patio and as soon as it crossed the property line it was like a race to see who could get it first. :evil:

Ya i hate neighbors like that but mine dont really care about what i do. Its probably because i always clean up the court or snowblow their sidewalks. Most of them are lazy as anything but my one neighbor i understand because their in their 80's but the still clean up sometimes.
If my neighbors do something i dont like i will usually just stand out there and stare at them or i will start something up and ride it around blasting the gears out then they will stop.
Wounder if they will do anything when i start my 86 up for the first time in the spring on open headers.
Should i do it on a friday night or on a saturday morning:twisted:

I think I piss off the golfers across the street more than any of my neighbors. You know, watch the guy take his practice swing, then rev up the car just as he's taking his real swing. :twisted: Heck, my neighbor hits golf balls out into the course from his front yard! But we all have parties once in a while and make noise into the wee hours.

let me throw in my two cents-
i got my z28 a couple months after we moved to our new house. there wasnt enough room for me to park on the driveway without blocking the cars in the driveway, so i would park my car on the strip of grass to the left of the driveway. my neighbor thought it was his strip of grass, got angry and egged my new car. i didnt know he did it cause he thought it was his grass, so i continued to park there. a week or two later, he got angry and slashed my left side tires. which happened to be the SAME night my ttop flew off while i was driving. my mom was convinced it was a sign from God and that i should sell the car and buy a corolla. his son eventually confronted me about it at my doorstep. i threatened him and he ran home. we called in a land surveyer (sp.) and it turns out the land was ours, along with a strip of his front yard that we didnt know about. he eventaully apologized and offered to pay for the damages, which was right after i had finished paying back my father for the new tires. my dad wouldnt let me take his money though. peace has now been restored though.

Yeah, so I am convinced it was because of me, but I dont care. I guess the black strips in front of their house were enough. The chevelle is pretty loud actually (exhaust is dumped) , but not as loud as open header :twisted:

never had neighbors like that...god knows if i did id be in jail lol

thats my ******* neighbors too. i got told by the old guy "youre ruining the neighborhood", anymore the funniest thing to me is wathing ricers go down teh street at like 65 mph with loud mufflers, he yells at them........... like they can hear LOL

Wasn't it almost midnight when we finished the head/cam swap and ran the car? :twisted:

Yeah, we always have some kinda crap goin on in my garage with either loud cars, burnouts, and what not. People i dont even know just stop infront of my house and roast the tires for the fun of it, just cause they know I am there. My friends and I will drop exhausts of cars and roll through the neighborhood in first gear. They are the only ones who complain.

Or ya can try our newest game. cruisin around seeing who can set off the most car alarms! :headbang:

i have neighbors like that as well except they call the cops for me making to much noise whith my cr 250 and little **** like sticks from our trees being on there lawn that we put out on the street for pickup
