Hell yes! Sooooooooo fawking happy. This year is turning out to be ok, and a LOT better then last year.

I hate the Pats cause its a NE team...but as a devout Cowboy fan, I will never ever ever root for teh Egirls.

I love the fact that the eagles lost. AFter all the annoying radio and tv ads about the eagles before that LOL :lol:

On another note...cant wait for American Dad!! If its half as funny as Family Guy, im sure it will get ripped off the Fox, only to find itself on Cartoon Network.

I should have bet on the game. Like I was telling Bill at Matt's b-day, Eagles will score first in the 1st half but the pats will tie, then the pats will walk away with a 10 point spread. Only I didn't see the Eagles coming back with that awesome t-down in the 4th. Still had the game figured out before it even began.
American Dad wasn't as good as I thought it would be. They tried WAY too hard, not enough "pause stupidity" humor, just lots of yelling and whitty 1 liners.
Anybody else get stuck where they didn't want to be tonight? 2 parties and I turned them both down to spend it with my Dad who I haven't seen in a few weeks.

guess I'm one of the only eagles' fans here.... but atleast they made it further in the past 4 years than the Giants, Jets, Cowboys. :P so all you north jersey people can shove it up your ass :wink:


and personally, yes, I'm tired of seeing all the eagles crap around here. maybe people will finally stop putting so much faith in them.

its horrible down here at school in Pa. im about 20 min outside of philly and all i hear is eagles songs on the radio and so much other crap.. thats why i was rooting for the PATS so i wouldnt have ot hear there crappy songs and celebrations for weeks to come

I live just far enough south in NJ to get all the Eagles crap, I got tired of hearing it after like a day. Â*My work had us dress up in Eagles attire (yes, it had to be Eagles, it was "Eagles night" and we are an "Eagles establishment"). Â*I just wore a green shirt. Â*And I made sure to tell the boyfriend that he lost and I was right once again. Â*He's not too happy with me at the moment it seems ;)

And yes, the Eagles made it furhter than the Giants, Cowboys etc in the last couple yrs....but at least all of the teams (I think) have at least 1 superbowl win (can't remember if the Jets ever won it...).

edit: I checked...Eagles have never won a superbowl (they had some sort of title in 1960, but superbowl didn't start til 67), while the Jets have 1, the Giants have 2, and Dallas has 5. So yeah, big deal the Eagles have gotten further than those teams in the past couple yrs...they've got nothin to show for it.

It's hard to believe the Eagles are the best team in the NFC. But they still aren't at the same level as the Pats. The Pats should have won by 10+ points but they decided to sit on the ball when they got down to the 3 yd line with a 7 point lead. That surprised me. I knew Donovan would throw a couple of int's based on the way he played against Minn and Atl. He still doesn't have the touch that's needed to win the big game. Just think, only 3 more super bowl losses and the Eagles will rank up there with the Bills!

It was a pretty good game overall, and I got my $50 from the 0-0 tie in the first quarter, so I'm happy :D

That's ok, the Cowboys (die hard fan here) have a 5-2 record in the superbowl I believe. They also went to the NFC Championship four years in a row, but they won three of them. And three superbowls in four years too. :wink: So they suck now, no biggie. Just a rebuilding phase. Julius Jones in the house!!!!

I dont understand why so many people actually hate the eagles. And the cowboy's rivalry is with the redskins, not the eagles, thats a phily obsession. Also, the eagles were far and away the best the NFC had to offer, thats very obvious concidering the moderate level of ease of the wins against the vikings and then atlanta. Also, they actualy do have several early draft pick options, and plenty of money under the cap to work with to respond to an earlier comment.

Of course its dissapointing that the eagles lost the most recent SB and NFC champoinships, but i still am more than happy with the past four years of being a domant team and also making it to a distence in the playoffs that only 4 other teams in the NFL make it to.

Did anyone else think that the part in teh Simpsons right after with Super Mario was one of the funiest moments in the history of mankind?
