it's not available.... hence, its not possible for it to be one. hell, doesn't even look like an LSx based engine anyway

Sorry guys, but the seller is right.

The current LSx naming conventions were ripped from the late 60's - early 70's big block chevys. (Remember the LS6 Chevelle?) If you read carefully, he even says that the motor was date coded in '73 or something.

Yup, the new one's aren't the first LSx series motors, also it is a Big block (BBC) where the new LS7 is a small block. Either way, at $4000 it is a steal

yeah, i just was liek hm this doesnt make sense ls7 and i was thinking of the new ls7 bc honestly i didnt know about the old ls motors............

LS7 was a super 454 that never made it into production.

But you COULD buy the LS7 heads :P . I don't know anybody that did but I'm sure there are some out there that would be considered LS7 engines hand-built.
