battery tray

I need a new battery tray/mount/whatever the term is for this part. The lip that hold s the battery in place cracked and snapped off on my bird, so the battery bounces around and is really loose. I looked on gm parts direct, but didnt see anything. Anyone know the part # for this, or any info?

are you talking about the long black plastic piece that bolts down to hold the battery in, or the whole metal tray in its entirety?

gary95formula 02-19-2005 05:02 PM

the whole tray

Just kidding ......

Try calling up a dealer, get the part number, and then order from GM parts direct. Thats what I do most of the time..

On my 94, the battery "tray" is actually the top of the coolant reservoir. It's all plastic.

deadtrend1 02-20-2005 10:53 AM

reservoir is supposedly included with the tray from classic industries...
