LS1's 4 channel for whatever reason give enough...
LS1's 4 channel for whatever reason give enough room for easy removal of the c-clip but 4 channel LT1 rears do not and I didn't use a stick of dynomight on the axle just a clamp.

They can be a pain sometimes on traction control...
They can be a pain sometimes on traction control rears due to the reluctor ring holding it back from pushing in very far but as stated its not too bad on a standard 3 channel rear.

Needle nose or take a cheap screwdriver and bend the end into a hook but like stated the axle needs to be pushed all the way in. Good luck.
