The motor was replaced at a Chevy dealer a few years ago. The trans might be a Jasper. I wasn't the one who drove it so I really don't know.

I have a pick up truck with a bad tranny and transfer case. Motor is a couple of years old. 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 with a utility body. Pics to follow. $2000 obo.

3.90 gears

Thinking about some different gears. Currently have 3.42 in a 98-02 10 bolt. Recently switched from a carb to efi. Starts great and runs fine, no real change on a 40-60 roll. Seems like it should...

Yeah it's been up to 230 afew times before when I had a fan issue. Nothing happened then but I could've gotten lucky. That was years ago and no issue til now. The heads are old and could've cracked....

It is a 40 year old block but the motor was rebuilt less than 10 years ago. The heads are also old but rebuilt 3-4 years ago with new gaskets. Car has not overheated since then, was barely drivin. ...
