This might make me sound like an a-hole but I've got an opinion about cops and people that work in high risk jobs. Nobody forced them to be a cop/military/fireman, it was THEIR choice. THEY know what comes with the job, if not, their fault. These people get paid good money to do what they do, which is put their lives on the line everyday. Why should they be treated any differently? They get to go home feeling good about their jobs where some of us only get the luxery of cursing about being pulled over.
It's like the military oversea's that complain about being over there. It's not like they didn't know the risk when they signed that piece of paper, so why should I feel bad? Don't forget that every job has it's pros and cons. I have a friend that is a cop and he says bad things about his cop buddies all the time. That's just part of their job.
You don't accept a paycheck as a janitor and expect people to clean the bathroom for you! Get my drift?
I give them a professional respect that they deserve but I have every right to complain about them when I get an unfair shake. When I get a ticket for something that I know is a problem then I accept it, but sometimes I get pulled over for the dumbest **** and that's when I hate on em.
