Yeah, he wanted Firebird to be Pontiac's Vette, but not use a V8.
Basicly, he wanted a Solstice.

He lead the Muscle car era. He broke the mold at GM that allowed big inch engines in small cars. He forced stuff through and brought it right to the heads of GM.
