Apparently the market for a mid engine, affordable roadster is slim to none.

And comparing the VERY small numbers of BMW cars sold to just the ONE Impala, not to mention the FWD sedans that round out the top 10 cars sold.
Face facts, GM is here to make money, not sports cars. GM needs to make money now more then ever. There is too much going on, or not going on in GM that they cannot just shoot from the hip.

GM needs to do this. They need to cut down on middle management. Speed up development and start using people from around the world and work as a UNIT!! Engineers in Germany should be talking to designers in Austrailia and product mangers in America. Allow the engineers and designers to do the talking, not the bean counters. Spend a few bucks here and there, or you will be spending that much on incentives to move the cars when they are released.
