It's not like they need the cowl for air intake NORE clearances... wtf. It's starting to piss me off. At least my cowl is for clearances AND air intake.
As for the shifter install, I didn't know it was all that difficult... what's so hard about the install?

I didnt put the hood on there, it was like that when I bought it. I did get the stock hood too, but its bent

He isn't talking about a shifter, he wants a shift kit. Like new springs and valve body. All those little check balls...what a nightmare.
*edit* I think some of the guys running turbo setups might need the cowl hood for clearance. I know some of the aftermarket upper intake manifolds are taller than stock, plus they sell spacers for between the upper and lower intake, so I'm sure someone actually needs a hood like that. It helps keep underhood temperatures a little bit lower too I think.
