if you nail the pre-trip the rest of the test is a drive in the park.

all i ever drove were freightliners. nice cabs, large sleepers. once you get out on the road you see all manner of cab with some pretty strange wheelbase and sleeper combinations. i don't think i would ever be comfortable in a flat-top, though, at 6'2" i needed to stand up without hitting my head and not have to be doubled over to move about.

make sure those axles are closed up tight next to each other on the trailer(makes it easier to maneuver). good luck to both of you.
