Yea, but he also had t-tops, power windows and locks, and A/C. I think the best weight he had was 3180ish from what he told me.....

Yea, but a/c probably weighs like 80lbs or less & i remember there being a routing of the acc belt a pita...ttops are only slightly heavier, power w/d & locks again more hassle to change over then its probably worth in the end...for that just get nets if he wants to go with the tin can look as well as spend upwards of $3000 or more in aftermarket parts including aftermarket aluminum heads or stock vette aluminum heads as well as a bunch of suspension parts like a tubular kmember and what have you thats fine and it might get under 3000lbs still a far cry from being light.
