If I'm not mistaken, they have 20gigs of storage through the host of the site. However, high quality pics take up a lot of room. With almost 500 members now, assuming half would post pics, you could easily use that storage space with one or 2 pics per member.
Geocities and the like are no good for this, as they offer less space, and they are a pain in the ass for bandwidth usage and such.
People could pool their unused webspace together, but then you have pictures in 20 different places.
Seems to me there's no good solution for it at the moment.
