liberties can off-road just as well as any other mass produced 4 wheel drive vehicle. i chose my words very carefully. i don't consider the H1-3 a mass produced vehicle. just because most owners won't take them off-road doesn't mean they can't enjoy a really cool day of trail riding with the occasional rock-crawl.

stop referring to the H1 with guns and missles strapped to it. i get this weird, saturday morning cartoon image in my mind when you do that. the humvee, the predecessor to all of these caricatures, is the vehicle you want. still in use by the military, not legal for interstate travel, go anywhere, over anything, vehicles are what's in people's minds when they think about the dream-4-wheel-drive-vehicle. hell, some people even have dreams about them. although i'd never admit it.
