L98 vette heads are getting cheaper and cheaper. 58cc chamber maintains good compression and they will drop 50+lbs off the front of your car
while you have things apart i woudl really suggest a cam. no need for anythign fancy, a ton of guys run stock LT1 cams for huge gains. the stock cam is by far the biggest stumbling block that factory TBI faces.
