Exactly how I feel about the military... when it's not a draft. My cousin is in the air force as an electronics war-fare officer on the B-52's (drops the bombs). We never treated him any different but always celebrated his returns. Treating somebody different because of their profession is just dumb and expecting to be treated different is even dumber. It's the same with most handicaps, they don't want to be treated differently (well at least the good ones don't).
I give cops a mutual respect. Every time I get pulled over I have a normal conversation with the officer. They like that. They don't want you kissing ass and they don't want you being a dick so be NORMAL. Being nervous isn't cool either. Just be calm and collected.
