they're called... get ready... "red line tires". they came as standard equipment on some first gen camaros. she is magically drawn to anything red. if they sold crap in a red can, she would buy it just because of the can.
there is always someone who has yet to see her car. and there is always someone in the crowd that will post it up. in the 5 or so years i've been around websites having to do with f-bodies, i think i've seen it posted up no less than ten times (once every six months or so). TGO is notorious for having it posted up in the appearance area, as some n00B finds it and posts it up, usually with a similar title to "jacked up firebird" or "ugliest car evah". then the redraif supporters come out of the woodwork to defend her honor. then someone tells her that so-and-so over on such-and-such board is trashing her car and she shows up a couple of weeks later to tell you how beautiful her car is. she can justify everything she's done to the car and the fact that she's an innovater, not a car builder or mechanic (shows, doesn't it?). she'll be here shortly, i am sure. hang on for a wild ride.
