Depends on the relationship you have with your friend. If the guy is like a brother, then by all means go for it. Just be prepared to spend lots of money and/ or the loss of said friend. If all hell breaks loose one or both of you will be highly upset with your losses and, unfortunately, that rarely ends up being a good situation in a friendship.
