This is no lie, years ago, i put a 383"sbc, in with a stock 373 rear, th700r4,10"3500 stall, in my 84' T/A, the car left the line, both wheels in the air, i was steering the car to the left, like at 10 o' clock, to keep the car straight and went 10.86 at 122mph. at 3390lbs. and got booted from Island, NO!!!, roll bar NO!!!nothing, they said your out'a here., but when taking out motor & trans. i never saw that trans. mount was pulled out of the frame on the passengers side that it touched the ground, broke the drivers mount, bent the stock torque-arm so bad, that the rear was to the right and i was steering to the car left to keep it straight.VERY SCARY.
