Yes...thinking about it a lot. Tires would deffinatly cost more, and at 17x8, you cant fit that much rubber on there, or not as much as I would like. I think 275 would be pushing it, as well as I might rub on the fenders/leaf spring.

www.nastyz28.com and do a search for 17inch rims. i think someone said they are fitting 17x9's with 275/40's on a 5.25 or 5.5 inch back spacing.
btw, TT2's = played out rim of the century. they are cool looking and all, but at this point i have seen them on everythign from hummers to hondas
