I'm saying they arent going to make a solstice that's stripped completely bare, and have it out there to sell even for a small group of wanna-be autocross racers. GM is a business, and they want to make money off of the cars, not sell an empty one. If you wanna have a bare bones solstice, they already know weight nazi's like you will do it themselves, if they are that car crazy. Regardless of how you say the solstice is for autocross and yadda yadda, it is also for people who want to have a nice pleasent roadster car to drive on the road. GM would not make a great profit off of a Kappa chassis with just an engine and drivetrain. It's about money, not about people like you.
