Matt, I know it can be overwhelming to work on an engine for your first time. If I were you I wouldn't of set a date for when you HAD to be done. This just puts more stress on you and makes it less enjoyable. How far are you along so far. Make sure you do ONE THING AT A TIME!!! I screwed up plenty of things by doing that. Once you take something off make sure you keep it together and kinda hook stuff back up how it was on your motor.
Also Matt, instead of freaking out about help and everything, you should of been posting your questions a while back about what you had to do, and in what order, etc. At least you know what to do now.
Sure your only 14, and new to everything, but you can do it. All you gotta do is put your mind to it. A perfect example is what I did last weekend I pulled a motor and trans out of a MG that threw a bearing. This is how far we got (keep in mind that it was not painted dull and not moving at all):
You can do ANYTHING bro, you just gotta put your mind to it. Just do one thing at a time and you'll be kosher. IMO, I would see if mama dukes can give you the money back for dyno day and expalined what happened. This way you don't feel so rushed and what not to get all the **** done.
