breaking in brake rotors?
put a new set of ssbc calipers and pads on and a set of summit racing cross drilled rotors on the car over winter. took the car out yesterday and did some hard braking on it just to make sure the car stopped good (i know it tells you not to but i wanted to make sure the brakes worked good) and the steering wheels pulsates. i look at my rotors at home and there were some high spots (evident of hte rotor wear where it was nice and shiny) is this normal? i called summit and the guy said that the 200 mile break in should iron it out. im just concerned since ill be racing the car next week and i dont want any issues. thanks
