Ok, bunch of ****ing whiny ass bitches over there. Im gonna break it down:
OK, sure, it sucks. The roof panel that fell off is NOT a structual piece. Period. Secondly, **** HAPPENS. I work in manufacturing, and there is NO WAY to control everything. Do you think GM makes that adhesive? NO! An outside contractor makes if FOR GM, and chances are, they ****ed up. Thing is, things like that are hard to find. Its obvious that GM knows exactly what and where got ****ed up so the situation is already rectified... so give them some damn slack, **** happens. Chances are the manufacturer of the adhesive send an out of date batch, or the formula was incorrect. In most instances, the QA of the supplier should take steps to make sure this doesent happen, but thats not always the case, and contracts are lost from negligence like that.
If customers really knew some ofthe **** that comes from suppliers, noone would buy anything from anywhere. Alot of times, the suppliers actually have suppliers. This happenned where I work for exapmple, I cant get into details (classified ****) but a supplier of ours was having one of thier parts made for us by a secondary supplier. We have been having problems with that part for years until I finally raised a big enough stink that they looked into depth. Low and behold the parts were WAY out of tolerance on a microscopic level.
So **** happens, its not always the manufacturers fault, so I wish those whiny wussies would cut them some slack.
