Agreed. F-bodies have the weakest jack points I've ever seen. When I bought mine, I noticed the driver side front fender was a little pushed out on the top...no big deal, lossened the blot by the windshield and pushed it back. But then the next time I was under my car, I see the bracket from the fender where it bolts to the bracket on the frame is completely bent up, like this...
The "true" jack point is just beyond this bracket. The bracket should be down with the blots pointing toward the pipe. My guess the previous owner jacked it up wrong, or when it was put on a lift it happened.
