I can't attest to this personally but I saw a great set done like this. Wetsand the lights with some 800, 1200, 1500 paper. Then polish them out with either plastic or chrome polish. Then spray them with actual automotive clearcoat. A guy from the Delaware club had this done on Power Tour and his lights looked AWESOME. I have a spare set that I'm gonna try this on before the Nats.
