Listen to Jake. I wish I had spent more time being a Kid rather than putting countless hours into the Chevelle when I was your age. Remember you (we) are the only few who have the blessing to have something to work on at that age. Have your fun with it, as a hobby, but dont let it take over your entire live. When I was at that point of my life, I lost a few friends when they couldnt stand me workin/talkin shop. Dude, have your friends that wanna hear about the car but dont overdo it. Take your time and the best thing is that you have the time, and you have the passion to work on it. I think maybe taking a little break from the car (and possibly the boards) would be a great idea. It will clear your mind and let you begin to focus on what you want to do. When I was half way through the restoration I took a break for a year (mainly cause I ran out of money) but it was the best thing for me. I was beginning to lose interest, and I went from restoring it to original, to making it a modified vehicle. I know you already want to modify your car but it may give you time to realize what you REALLY want to do to it. Whatever you do good luck, you are man enough to write out an apology to everyone, and I can respect that! I know eventually we will see the Firechicken on the road and you having the time of your life with it. Remember, this is a hobby, and supposed to be fun. Keep it that way!
