You could, but it would require a different intake than the vortecs, and you would also have a higher compression ratio. You would also have to swap valvesprings, and prolly get the LG4 heads cut to fit the bigger valvesprings.

Not worth it. Don't half-ass a new motor. Wait till you have the money.
