So in october or so I got my car back from inspection and a new cat install, that night the car became stuck in park. the next day we called cottman and they came and towed her away. I told them the problem and they said they had to take the whole trans apart to look at it, a few days later they said it needed to be rebuilt, they said it would be 400 for the tow and labor if we didnt get it rebuilt, and 900 including the rebuild and a waranty. it took about 4 weeks for a part to come in then we got the car back, I got her home and soon after the car gets stuck in Neutral. Me and scott(tojan man) fix it in 5 min with out jacking it up using a hammer... ever since then I have been pondering if it even was rebuilt...
Now Im furious.. I looked under the car to see a big puddle of red fluid, hmmm what could that be?
What should I do? should I consult them about it? Should I have some one thats reputable to check if its rebuilt? How much would that run? Im SO pissed right now because thats about 800-900 I dont have, and will need to pay off SOON..
