I think what the article is saying is that people that come to this country damn well better work their asses off. I'm personally proud of my Italian and Polish/Lithuanian(yeah that's right you commie bastid

) heritage but obviously I'm American. I know for a fact that BOTH sides of my family learned the language prior to coming over here(I was fortunate enough to know my great grandparents prior to their death). I think A LOT of the rights and freedoms immigrants have are taken for granted(the illegals that is).

This country was founded on people coming from all over the world to better themselves and I don't think that should EVER change, however there is a right way and a wrong way to do it. What the government proposes to allow illegals rights is a HUGE slap in the face to my ancestors and EVERY SINGLE LEGAL IMMIGRANT WHO WENT THROUGH THE ******** OF GETTING INTO THIS COUNTRY THE RIGHT WAY. It's a spit in the face.

I also don't understand how people in this country suppose ILLEGAL immigrants becoming citizens, saying they're not criminals. I thought when you do something illegal you're a criminal? lol
