That's insane. It must take 10 years to get out of debt once you graduate to pay off the student loans. The main reason I was asking is because when I was in college I honestly only found 2 or 3 courses that did anything to help me with my career. I still think on the job experience is worth a lot more than schooling. In school, you can learn the "rules" to how things should be done, but in the business world you can toss 99% of them out. But most employers won't even talk to you without any schooling. My college (RIT) had a lot of community college students who were able to transer 80-90% of their credits towards getting a 4 year degree. That seems to be the only affordable way to get schooling.
