Depends on the manufacturer, SPEC (I know lots of people don't like them) clearly says in their destructions 400-600 miles, not highway miles though. Their website says tech dept said 600-800 miles....given the problems some people have with SPEC clutches I took the high side and put 800 miles of around-town type driving on the clutch before doing any type of aggressive driving....and no problems to report after 2 autoX events, 4 trips to atco, and numerous blasts on the street....

I'd say 500 is a good number....
