Well damn. Before they paved the place their f-body collection, especially third gens, was decent. It was a PITA to get around the cars since they were partially submerged in water, but at least there was stuff to choose from. I admit its been a few months now since I've been there, and the numbers were dwindling then. I did see many engine blocks off to the side of the main building though.

I think GI is pulling more and more of their own stuff so they can charge more and so they stop some of the stuff that walks out. I did give them props though - had a handful of odd and end plastics for the steering column and the guy at the gate just made a face and waved me through without paying. Nothing they could put an "honest" price to I guess.

Folks who go to junkyards should be prepared to haggle - never pay what they tell you. Just think about it a moment, turn to leave to put it back, then turn around again and offer a smaller price like you aren't sure if you really want it. Works for me.
